My background
I am a Cadastral and Geodesy Engineer, with specializations in Geomatics and Project Management, and I am PMP certified. I also hold a technology degree in Information Systems Analysis and Development and I am finishing a degree in Systems Engineering. I have worked with geospatial data for 17 years. I started as a GIS analyst, then did application development and support, and later managed software teams and projects.
That is why I understand both the technical side of land data and the development side. I know what an environmental team, a municipality or a company needs, and I know how to build it as a web map, a data service or a platform for daily use.
Today I work with DigitalOnline on projects that connect maps with workflows, documents, analytics and artificial intelligence. I also keep teaching through the blog, the free courses and the JohaGis community.
